What is Virtual Time Recorder?

How do you clock in with a smartphone?
Through the VTR Mobile app, with several secure modes: geolocation GPS, georeferenced QR Code, Bluetooth/Beacon and NFC. An employee can be enabled for several modes; for special roles there is also a free mode. Clock-in is valid only at authorized places.
Do I need hardware or badges?
No. Just a smartphone and an internet connection: no punch clock, no badge, no hardware maintenance.
Is VTR secure and GDPR-compliant?
Yes. The service is an ACN-qualified Cloud (Cloud services catalogue, listing SA-4222), certified ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (which integrates the ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and 27018:2019 controls for the cloud) and processes data per EU Reg. 2016/679. Location is verified only at the moment of clock-in, not continuously.
Does it integrate with HR and attendance systems?
Yes. VTR interfaces with any attendance/absence system already in use by the customer, via secure WebAPI/RestAPI: clock-ins sync in real time, with no manual data entry. You don’t need to replace your existing system to add clocking with VTR Mobile.
Does it work with multiple sites and mobile staff?
Yes. Employees can clock in at the various authorized sites; management monitors attendance in real time by site or by employee.
